The Nascent Gaze - Visitor's Love Poem

by Gagan
(Pune, India)

Anxious, hesitant, the gaze meet.

Pounding and racing, goes every beat.
The span froze, the instant still,
I were martyr, looks could kill.
The trauma to caress, yet unsure,
Assailant passion, perennial cure.
Stupefied, astound, words avast.
A cupid shot. An arrow cast.
Delirious elation, abundant sting,
Bewitching angel, tawny wings.
