Like Dust - Visitor's Love Poem

by Francis X. Reilly (Corky Pflegmhocker)
(Williamsport, PA, U.S.A.)

These storied-dreams I've secreted-
to tell them... never dare!
Like telepathic fantasies
they flutter through the air.
These lover's speculations
that I conjure every day,
are private meditations
unrevealed in any way.
No limit is there to my love-
no boundary to place-
my love's immense proportions grow...
like sanctifying grace.
Mere words I might articulate,
contented by your side-
my love, could never quite describe
this fire that burns inside.
And if you ever say goodbye,
I would not last a day-
for all I am or ever was,
like dust...would blow away.

This is probably the most beautiful poem ever written...period. All other poetry being written today pales in comparison to any of yours. You are the king! THE KING!!!
